Letche Puto
















Hi today I will be sharing my version of letche puto

Ingridients:
8 eggyolks
1 can of condensed milk
1 tsp of lemon juice

For the puto
2 cups cake flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 tsp of baking powder
2 drops of yellow food colouring
4 egg whites


Procedure:
Combine eggyolks , condensed milk and lemon juice set aside.

Combine cake flour, baking powder, sugar , water, eggwhites , food colouring, mix until well combined.

Grease puto molds with melted butter this will ensure that the puto flan will not stick to the mould, fill the puto moulds with flan about 1/4 full and cook in a steamer for about 5-8 minutes  on medium to low heat. The flan should be solid to touch. Remove from heat and then add in the puto mixture about 3/4 full . ( do not over fill puto will rise quite allot) . Steam for about 10 minutes or until the puto is firm to touch .

Let it cool down before unmoulding.
